DENIED. This grievance resulted from the removal of the employee for illicit contact with an inmate. Although the arbitrator believed the inmate was not motivated by bad intentions in engaging in her admitted relationship, he found cause, and was barred from altering the termination in accord with Article 25. The Arbitrator did permit the Grievant to resign from the Department in leiu of termination.
