The arbitrator found that there was just cause for discipline but that removal was excessive and unreasonable. The grievant was reinstated and the removal was converted to a five day unpaid suspension. The grievant was entitled to back pay  (less interim earnings) and restoration of all rights and benefits, including seniority.
