Grievance DENIED. The termination of the grievant for violating work rules 46A and 24 was upheld as being proportional and for just cause. The grievant was found to have made calls to a current inmate's relatives from her personal phone and then was dishonest about it during an investigative interview. The Arbitrator rejected the Union's claims that the grievant's dishonest statements were the result of the grievant being "scared" and unprepared for the interview.
