Grievance DENIED. The arbitrator found that the Employer had just cause to remove the Grievant for violation of the work rule pertaining to performance of duty. The Arbitrator found that the Grievant did not understand even the most basic police reporting procedures. The Grievant had first hand information of a robbery, yet failed to stop at the crime scene or report the information to her supervisor - a serious failure of the duty of any sworn police officer.
