Grievance DENIED. The arbitrator found that the Employer had just cause to discipline the grievant for work rule violations related to falsifying official documents and actions that could compromise her ability to perform her duties. The arbitrator found that the grievant did not make an honest and simple mistake, but deliberately falsified copies of other people’s work product for her own ends. This compromised her ability to perform her duties as an Investigator, a position where the integrity of one’s work is critical to the success of the Bureau as well as of the individual.
