Grievance was MODIFIED. Grievant was suspended for three days after being charged with the following work rule violations: Falsifying any official document; Failure to carry out a work assignment; and Failure to follow posted orders, administrative regulations, policies and directives. The charges arose from the Grievant’s dealings with one particular parolee in his custody. The Employer charged the Grievant with the above violations after the parolee robbed a convenience store, shot two people and kidnapped four others. Because the Employer proved only one of the three charges, the Arbitrator modified the Grievant’s three-day suspension to an oral reprimand.
