Grievance was MODIFIED: The Grievant received a three day suspension for inappropriate contact with a female coworker. The inappropriate contact consisted of rubbing against her, sending a large floral arrangement to her at the office after she had advised the Grievant not to, and getting under a desk with her when she was attempting to find a dropped article. The Arbitrator ruled that the allegations had been proved, but that the suspension had been erroneously based in part on the Grievant’s sending the female coworker the floral arrangement. Accordingly, the Arbitrator reduced the suspension to one (1) day.
