Grievance DENIED. The Grievant was removed for Grievant allegedly failing to submit reports concerning an alcohol related offense, having an improper on-duty association with an individual in his custody and making false statements concerning his conduct. The Arbitrator pointed to Section 19.02 of the Agreement which does not call for the employer to specify the reasons an employee is being placed on administrative leave, but said that it's technically a violation of the contract that does not effect the removal. The Arbitrator held that the Employer provided sufficient evidence to justify discipline and removal was commensurate with the severity of the offense.
