The Grievance was GRANTED. The Grievant was a Food Service Worker employed in the Department of Mentalì Retardation/Developmental Disabilities (MR/DD) at the Mt. Vernonì Developmental Center. Originally hired on November 28, 1983, as a worker inì the Rian Hall Kitchen, she successfully bid on the Float position, and workedì in different areas on an as needed basis. As a "pick-a-post" participant,ì the Grievant worked Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., withì Saturdays and Sundays off. On February 13, 1989, the Grievant received aì fourteen (14) day Notice of Temporary Reassignment for nine (9) weekends inì March and April of 1989 to the Rian Hall Kitchen. During these weekends, theì Grievant would work 5:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. On February 27, 1989, theì Grievant challenged the temporary reassignment decision.
