Grievance DENIED. The Arbitrator found that Grievant was working on the family farm during four days when he should have been working for the Employer. The penalty was commensurate with Grievant's prior disciplinary record and the severity of the offense. The medical excuse proffered by the Union was unconvincing to the Arbitrator because it indicated that there would be no restrictions on Grievant's job activities. The use of another bargaining unit employee to investigate the incident does not invalidate the discharge.
