The Grievance was DENIED. The supplemental hearing resulted when the parties were unable to negotiate the actual definition of "work area" pursuant to the Arbitrator's prior award. (See Award No. 0061.) The Arbitrator accepted the Employer's final offer regarding 1) the definition of work area, 2) rotation of areas, 3) special duty/canvassing procedures, 4) post assignments, 5) relief assignements, 6) rotation rights, 7) local implementation, and 8) privacy and security considerations. "Work Area" in the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction shall be defined as the entire institutional facility to which an employee is assigned on a regular basis.
